PAPER
Paper is very useful nowadays. We cannot do without it even for a day. It is chiefly made from rubbish cotton. rags, linen, straw and old paper. It is also made from some kind of grass, bamboo and weeds. These things are first sorted and then chopped in a machine. They are afterwards cleared of dusts with the help of machines. They are boiled in water with soda and lime and then put in the pulping machine. A kind of glue is usually mixed with the pulp to make the paper tough. Paper is chiefly used for printing books as well as for writing
