AN UMBRELLA

An umbrella is a common household article. It is used as a shelter against rain or sun. So we use it in all seasons. It is made of a steel frame, some iron ribs generally eight in number, a stick, and the covering cloth. The covering cloth is generally black cloth either cotton or silk. The stick is generally three feet long. It may be of wood or steel. The frame is so made that it can be opened or closed. The umbrella looks round when opened.
