Introduction:
Tea is a kind of hot drink. It is popular all over the world. It is obtained by boiling tea dust. Tea is got from the tea plant. The tea plant is a bushy plant.
Where grows :
Tea grows in China, Bangladesh, India, Japan, Burma and Srilanka. Tea grows in hilly areas where there are sufficient rains, It grows in a moist climate. It grows largely in China, India and Srilanka.
Cultivation:
Cultivation of tea requires wet soil. Seeds are first sown in a nursery. The seedlings are then transplanted in rows in a big area and on the slopes of hills where water does not stand. Adult plants are pruned to prevent growth and make bushy.
Plucking of tea:

Processing and blending:
The leaves so plucked are dried in the sun and taken to the factory. They are processed there in different ways. Finally, the colour of the leaves become black. Then they are packed in boxes and made ready for sale at home and abroad.

At first, water is boiled. When the water is fully boiled some tea dust is put in it. Then it is filtrated. A nice drink is prepared when sugar and milk are mixed with it.

Tea is a refreshing drink. A cup of hot tea refreshes our body after hard work. It earns much foreign exchange for our country. Conclusion: Tea plays an important role in the economy of our country.
