THE SCHOOL MAGAZINE COMMITTEE
The Magazine Committee consists of nine members. They are the editor, assistant editors, business editors, proof-reader and assistant proof-reader. The members of the committee are elected in a general meeting of the students and the teachers. Three teacher members on the committee are selected by the headmaster and the student members are elected by the students. Besides, the headmaster himself is on the meine committee as chief patron. One of the teachers is the adviser and the other is the proofreader. The editor is a student. He has many duties to do. He invites the writings, selects the good ones and makes arrangements to print the magazine. The assistant editors. assist the editor. There are two business editors. They go to different business concerns. and try to sell the space in the magazine for advertising their products. The money that they get helps the committee to meet the expenses of paper, printing, block making etc. The assistant proofreader is a student. He reads proofs with the help of the teacher who in charge of proofreading. The chief patron helps the committee with his advice and arranges for the money to meet the expenditure in printing and publishing the magazine. Under the guidance of the adviser, student-members work very earnestly.
