THE TOWN I LIVE IN
The name of my town is Dhaka. It is the capital of Bangladesh. It stands on the bank of the Buriganga. It is a very large and beautiful town. It has two parts, the old and the new town. The population of the town is gradually increasing. The old town is very congested because it is the centre of business. There are many historical places here which are renowned over the world. Ramna is called the new town which is the most important centre in Dhaka at present. Many big and beautiful buildings have been erected in this area. There are many commercial areas like Motijheel and Dilkusha. Ramna is a very beautiful and planned area of the city. New buildings are founded regularly everywhere in the city. There are so many residential areas like Banani, Dhanmondi where high officials and foreigners live in the big buildings. Almost all the government and commercial offices work in the town. So the roads of this area are broad and the buildings are very large. There are some multi-storeyed buildings in Motijheel commercial area.
