It was the month of May. Our school was closed for summer vacation. My parents decided on an outing for a few days. My parents were unable to decide where to go. I was asked about my choice. There are rivers, forests, seas, mountains and places of historical and religious interest. But had an attraction to hills from my childhood. Except for this, I previously I had visited Digha, Bishnupur, Murshidabad. So I requested my father to go to any hill area. It will make my dream alive. He gladly accepted my proposal. At last, it was decided to go to Darjeeling
The natural sights of Darjeeling were very beautiful. The hills, houses, roads looked like a picture. Here the weather was amazing. If the sky was covered with fog then after a few minutes fog vanished and the sun came out. We visited Rajbhawan, the museum, botanical gardens. To see the sun-rise at the Kanchanjangha is a matter of luck Scenery of the Mall is incomparable. My parents were also very pleased We spent four days there but got a lot of new experiences. We visited Darjeeling two years ago but the pleasant memories are still fresh in my mind. Darjeeling has increased my desire to visit hill areas.
