Sir,
Please allow me to express my view through the columns of your esteemed daily against the bursting of crackers during festivals particularly during Kali puja.
It has now become a fashion to use crackers almost in all the festivals. It is a great problem for all people in society. For the bursting of crackers, students cannot concentrate their minds on their studies. In these days it is used in the immersion ceremony of every puja particularly in Kali puja. Walking of children and oldmen at night is not safe. People can't sleep at night peacefully. It also causes some serious diseases like irregular blood pressure and cardiac disturbance.
Under the above circumstances, I would like to request you to kindly ventilate this to draw the kind attention of the authority concerned to have us relieved from this sufferings.
