Reading a book is my favourite hobby. Whenever I find any time I spend it reading some books. Books are really our best friends. Recently I have read a book named David Copperfield by Dickens. The characters of the book are Clara Copperfield. Peggotty. Betsy, Dick and Micawber. The posthumously born little child peeps shyly from behind the printed lines. Right from the start his joys and sorrows have become my personal feelings and ultimately his whole life-story passes into my personal treasury of very rich possessions. In the book, Clara is a model of pathetic beauty. Peggotty is a picture of faithful love. A little soft in the brains, Mr Dick is ever ready with quick suggestions that are at once funny and sensible. Betsy is a case of a hard shell and softcore. Her love for David gets the better of her prejudice against the male-folk. Micawber, of course, is the most interesting character I have ever found in print. He is eternally hopeful.
Most of the characters including the waiter are good. The waiter ate up almost all the food given to David on his way to Dover. The book has impressed mainly on account of these creatures. Davids career has touched me greatly and I sympathised with him when later in the book, his doll-wife Dora dies. Agne's union with David is quite well deserved.
