THE CROW
The crow is a common bird of Bengal. It is seen everywhere. We hear its cawing at down. It is black in colour. It has a small head, two bright round eyes and a strong curved beak. Its voice is harsh. It lives near human habitation. It cannot fly very high. There are different kinds of crows-The Ravens, The Rocks, The Jackdaws etc. Jackdaw's body is glossy black and it is big in size. The crow is very cunning. The crow builds its nest with dry sticks and straw on the branches of trees. It lives on waste food, grains, rice, dead animal's flesh and rotten things and creatures. Thus it helps us in keeping our surroundings neat and clean. So we call it Nature's sweeper. Crows have a great unity among them. When one is in danger others flock together to help.কাক

The crow is a common bird. It is found almost everywhere. It is the ugliest of birds. It is generally jet-black in colour. It has a long strong bill. Its wings are very strong and large. Its voice is very harsh. The crow builds its nests on tall trees. It lives on fish, meat and worms. It also eats rice and ripe fruits. The crow is very greedy and it is a great thief. It swoops on whatever food it finds. It even snatches away food from a child's hands. The crow caws at dawn and wakes us up. It eats all rotten and dirty things and thus helps keep our house clean.
