Once upon a time, a crow was very thirsty. It was a very hot day. He was Looking for water here and there. He got no water anywhere. At Last he found a pitcher. He flew to it. But alas! the water lay at the bottom. He tried to drink water but his efforts went in vain. He then tried to overturn the pitcher but the could not. He then hit Upon a plan. He saw some pebbles lying nearby. He picked them up one by one and dropped them into the pitcher. The water rose to the brim. He then drank water and quenched his thirst.

It was a hot summer day. A thirsty crow was flying about in search of water. After an hour of flying, it saw a pitcher near a house. It felt very happy. It flew to the pitcher and peeped into it. There was water in it but the level was too low. But the crow was clever. It hit upon a plan soon. It collected a few pebbles and put them into the pitcher one by one. Gradually the water rose to the neck of the pitcher. The crow was very pleased. It drank the water to its heart's content and flew away.
