 Our National Flag

India's National Flag has three colours. The upper part of the tricolour is saffron. It is the symbol of sacrifice. Its lower part is dark green. It is the symbol of courage. The middle part of the flag is white. It is the colour of peace. There is a navy blue wheel at the centre of the white part. It is Ashoka chakra which has 24 equal spokes. Our national flag is a symbol of freedom, pride, unity and honour. All Indians are proud of this tricolour.

OUR NATIONAL FLAG

Our national flag is very simple but attractive. Its shape is rectangular. It has two colours # red and green. The main portion of the flag is green. In the middle of the flag, there is a round patch of red. Green represents the green lands of Bangladesh while red stands for the sun. It can be of different sizes. It is hosted on top of important government buildings from 7 a. mm. to till sunset. We host it on some national occasions like Independence Day, Victory Day etc
