Modern computers are electronic and digital. The actual
machinery - wires, transistors, and circuits --is called hardware (such as keybord,mouse,monitor,printer
etc.. ); the instructions and data are called software(such as ms-office).

There is a story that five bliend men came across an elephant.Each one
of them touched the different parts of its body.The one who touched the
trunk said the the elephant was like a snake; the one who heald the tail
,said that it was like a rope. The ones holding other parts of its body
said different things.Likes elephant,a computer is made of different
parts which when looked at from any user angle will give a different
definition.We should just renumber that a computer.

Approximately 4,000 years ago, the Chinese invented the
Abacus. Abacus is a counting or calculation tool which is used for addition,
subtraction, division and multiplication. It may also be used to get
square-roots and cubic roots. This tool is made from different types of hard
woods and they vary in size. It is operated by hand.
